How friend codes work

Both of you open the site once so codes appear. Share your code or invite link → they Request → you Accept → Call when online.

Friends are saved on this server with your account. No extra app is needed. Export a profile backup before clearing browser data or switching devices.

Call when they show Online. If both of you are on the site but they show offline, re-add with their current friend code (or import the same profile backup on both devices). Then Browse together, or invite another friend into a live call.

How stars work

Stars are a thank-you in chat, not money. You earn them in long chats and spend them on gifts.

After an hour together, you each get 1 star you can spend. A gift after a chat is separate: the first three people can receive one after 5 minutes, then it takes 15 minutes, and only once per person. A trusted member can give up to 2 stars, and an experienced member up to 3. A long chat with an experienced member can add extra stars: 3 per hour for most people, or 2 per hour once you have 250 stars.
Heart costs 1 star. Bars, flowers, balloons, confetti, and pass the mic cost 5. Fireworks cost 15. Please stay costs 30, and they cannot skip you for 15 seconds. Bars are a mark, not a compliment. Pass the mic is a short nudge to let them speak.
A trusted member needs 100 stars from at least 5 different people. An experienced member needs 250 stars from at least 12. If nobody gifts you for 45 days, this score slowly fades, and it can fade for up to 180 days. It can make matching a little easier, and it raises how large a gift you can send. It is not a ban. Stars from an hour together do not raise this score. Putting someone behind bars is only a mark, and abusing it stops affecting other people.
Stars stay on the server with your account. A profile export never includes them.
